THANKSGIVING 2009

I didn't even get one picture taken on Thanksgiving. We were worried about our missionaries , but shouldn't have been. They all received between 2 and 10 invitations to eat. And so most of them were well-taken care of. I should have worried about some of them getting sick from over-eating.
We were invited to Glen and Carolyn Davis' home. We had a nice time visiting with their friends and family. They are known for their superb cooking and we had a great feast.
The Cordners invited us for dessert that evening so we could see Corrine who was visiting with her family from Georgia. We love all the Cordners. They are a really special family. When Pres. Albright and I were young marrieds we moved into their ward and have been friends ever since.

Their children babysat for us when ours were young. It is great to renew old acquaintances.
We so thankful for good friends. Especially at this thanksgiving time we remember how blessed we are and thankful to Heavenly Father for showering us with so much. One of our greatest blessings is having 160 incredible missionaries to love and serve with on this mission. And of course the blessing of 5 happily married children, 9 grandbabies, and wonderful parents. Who could want anything more?
