The Centreville Zone Conference July 27,09

This is the 2nd week of Zone Conferences and the first one is the Centreville Zone.  The Zone Leaders  are Elders Lieppman and Tye.  The great leadership skills continued and gave us such a feeling of complete trust in these young people.   Every conference I become more convinced that the most incredible missionaries were all sent to our Washington DC mission.  We love them all more each day.  This Zone doesn't have any Sisters, so I was the only Sister in the room.  But they are all so sweet that I feel completely loved and included.  The Elders include:  Lieppman, Tye, Allen, Thompson, Wilkey, Logan, Packer, Gillihan, Lewis, Hall, Porter, Wiggins, Metcalf, Hutchinson, DeNoronha, Johnson, Benson, and Barnes.  Elder Wilkey sang a solo and it was beautiful.  We sure have a lot of wonderful musical talent in this mission. Pictures include The chapel were the conf. was held, the cars for inspection, the luncheon, the Ironman ward ( Most time on a bike), the birthdays, and the whole zone.

  1. Dear President and Sister Albright:

Thank you for putting this great blog up. It was great to see some recent pictures of Elder Benson and that he was partaking of his favorite commodity - chocolate!

Sister Benson and I admire both of you greatly for being willing to literally put your "lives on hold" while shepherding the wonderful Elders and Sisters of the Washington D.C. South Mission. As much as he loves his mission, we do have to say, we can't wait to get him home - although we will miss the blessings.

In case he didn't mention it, Elder Benson's grandparents knew Sister Albright's parents (the Wasden's) in Idaho Falls. We knew right away that Sister Albright would be a super "mission president wife" from the legacy of her family.

May the Lord bless you, your family, the great members of the mission, and the Elder's and Sister's with his choicest blessings as you go forward in this great work.

    Warmest Regards,
