DINNER WITH OFFICE COUPLES AND ELDER WALKER

After the first day of the mission tour we had dinner at the mission home with the office couples, The Holmgrens and the Cordners, and the Maltanados, and Elder and Sister Walker. It was a really enjoyable evening and we had fun just visiting and getting know each other. Elder Walker really loved our mission home. He especially loved the painting by Del Parsons that Mark's father had painted. It is the one showing here on the wall behind them. He took pictures of it and asked if it could be used in one of the temples. He told us that every picture put in the temples has to have the approval of the 1st Presidency and it is his job to show them works they would like used. The Cordners, Bob and Karen and the Walkers

  1. I wondered about the beautiful painting in the mission home that Elder Walker liked so much. Did Del Parsons paint the original and Pres. Albright's father copied it? Just curious. :)
