LAST DAY OF INSPECTIONS-CENTREVILLE/CULPEPER 9-09

Well here we are:  LAST DAY OF INSPECTIONS.  It has been a lot of fun but very long and tiring.  Visiting about 70 places is a little intimidating.  And President Albright will have interviewed all the missionaries.  He has enjoyed visiting with each of them.  They are all special and we love every one of them.  Our first stop today: Elders Egan, Averett, Henrie, and Tobey.  They serve in the Culpeper and Piedmont wards.  These are the two place the farthest from the mission home.  We were up at 5:00 in order to get ready and leave just after 7:00.   This area was really beautiful. More open fields and rolling hills.  Farms and beautiful countryside.  It felt good to see some "distance".
Elders Egan, Tobey, Averett, and Henrie.  With their Celestial Certificate.
Sister Holmgren came along today. It was great having her with us again.
2nd stop-Warrenton.  Elders Logan and Randall live here.
Elder Randall and Logan.
The inspection crew with the elders.
3rd stop.  Elders Thompson,Walker, Barnes, and Bullock--a Celestial job.
We ate lunch with this group of elders.  It was a enjoyable visit.  Thanks Elders.
The town home where our Gainsville anad VintHill/Union Mill Elders live.

4th stop.  Apartment for the Manassas 2 Elders.
The patio with the elders bikes.  Sister and Elder Holmgren.
Elders Hutchinson and GC or Giraud-Carrier.
Altogether with GC and Hutchinson.
5th stop.  Elders Porter and Searcy live here and serve in the Sudley B ward.
They got the award for the very best map.  We were really impressed with it.
Elder Gifford is in great shape.  He was doing push-ups with his feet up on a chair.
Elders Searcy and Porter.  (Elder Porter leaves next week after 2 great years of service)
The whole group.
6th Stop.  This apartment complex is gated.  WOW  pretty fancy.
Elders Loppe, Lewis, and Johson.  Elder Ross is being interviewed .
Elders Loppe, Lewis, Gifford, Johnson, and Gannaway.
Elder Ross is a National Roping champion.  This is a little practice "steer".
Four roommates:  Elders Ross, Johnson, Lewis, and Loppe.

The outside of their place.  They don't have a garage.. They cost extra.
The exit gate.  We liked the referral sign since we are always asking for missionary referrals.

Our 7th stop.  The stake President has missionaries living with him.  This place is just breathtaking.  Rolling hills and horse estates.  Pretty lucky elders living here.

Elders Ockler and Tye are the lucky Elders who live with President Hilton and his family.
In the downstairs apartment of the Centreville 2 Elders: Ockler and Tye.
The backyard entrance to the elders apartment.
Our last stop.  The Centreville 1 Elders live with members also.  The Howard family shares their home with Elders Laughren and Gillihan.
Elder Laughren meets us at the door.
Elders Laughren and Gilligan.
Elder Laughren is from Australia.  These cookies TIM TAMS are his favorite.  He was so sweet he wanted to share with us.  But we had to eat them the Australian way.  You bite off the corners.  Then put it in a cup of hot milk like a straw and suck the milk in and it melts the caramel in the middle, then put the whole thing in your mouth.  MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DELICIOUS.    We are tried and we all used the same cup of milk.  What a fun Elder.

Our last picture of apartment inspections.  Pres. and Sis Albright, Elders Laughren and Gillihan and Elder Holmgren and Assistants Gifford and Gannaway.   A great place to end a really fun experience.  In another 6 months we'll do it again.  It was so fun to see the missionaries put so much effort into cleaning and organizing and making sure they had CELESTIAL places to live.   It really impressed Pres. and I and we learned to love these missionaries even more from this experience.
