THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

I wanted to take a few lines and tell these two young men how incredible they are and how very much we will miss them and have come to love them. Elders Gannaway and Gifford met us at the airport the day we arrived (very green) to the Washington DC South misison. After spending only a couple of hours with the Wixoms, we were left in the very capable hands of these two young men. President Albright's assistants. They were patient and so sweet to me for the many months it took me to learn the schedule and all the many details involved in running a mission. They were a life line for me and made me feel comfortable and confident with each new thing I was learning. They escorted us everywhere for the first few months. They got very little sleep as the prepared and planned. They called me often to check on me and made sure I had everything I needed. They are both spiritual giants, incredible teachers and trainers for all the missionaries, devoted to the work and love the gospel with all their hearts. They are two of my heros and thank them from the bottom of my heart. Elder Gannaway is leaving with this group on Dec. 18th and Elder Gifford leaves on January 5th.
