TWO FEET OF SNOWED IN FUN

We knew it was suppose to snow and lucky for us it didn't start until after our missionaries all got off on their flights. But once it started it didn't stop. We eventually got about 2 feet. Our entire patio was filled to the seats of the furniture. It was a really beautiful and fun experience. They had announced on the news that it was coming and people had completely wiped out supplies at the stores. Our kids and grandkids and my mother just loved it. They had so much fun. We played games, made treats had hot chocolate and enjoyed watching it snow. They only bad part was that the 21 scheduled baptisms for this weekend all had to be cancelled. Hopefully they will all be rescheduled. (it makes it harder to reach our 400 goal). Church was cancelled on Sunday also. Our brave assistants drove over in the 4-wheel drive truck and we fed them dinner. But the roads to the neighborhood were only plowed after 3 days. The missionaries are not allowed to drive when it snows and so they all went out and performed service for people stuck in the snow. They shoveled lots of driveways and pushed lots of cars to safety. What a great bunch. Even our sisters got to work helping shovel. I think they all loved feeling the spirit of giving service. Way to go Sisters and Elders.Nicole and Bailey Sinquefield

Gramma Joyce Wasden bundles up to get ready for a walk in the snow. (she is from Idaho and was very excited to see the snow, even after having lived in Las Vegas for 44 years)
