Departing interview & Tie ceremony.

On Tues, the 2nd of Feb. the departing missionaries came to the house for their departing interviews. While they are here, they bring me a favorite conversion story for a book I am putting together. It is a wonderful keepsake. They also mark their favorite scripture in a set of scriptures we are compiling. And they bring their tie to hang on the banister. (They will be made into a quilt eventually). While Pres. interviews each missionary in his office, I get the pleasure of visiting with the others in the living room and have treats in the kitchen. It is a really fun, and kind of sad morning. It sets in that they are really coming home and have just about reached the end of their missions. They are here with their MTC district and are very close friends. I don't seem to have a picture of Elder Tye, I am so sorry.Don't know how that happened. Elder Wilkes
