YOUR MISSIONARIES ARE IN GOOD HANDS

This is our Area Medical Authority, Dr. Aldous and his wife, Sis. Aldous. He is assigned as the medical Dr. over 14 missions in the southeastern US. He is from Salt Lake City where he practiced as an Ears, Nose, Throat specialist. It should give you comfort to know that our missionaries are in the best of hands with wonderful, qualified and kind Doctors who come on two year missions to take care of the medical needs of the missionaries. Dr. Aldous is always available to talk to us or the missionaries at anytime. And our missionaries feel very comfortable around Dr. Aldous. His bedside manners are super. During our zone conference this time, Dr. and Sis. Aldous came each day and got to know the missionaries. It was fun for them to put a face with the voice they often talk with. Dr Aldous gave a delightful talk each day with wonderful medical information, but also lots of fun and interesting stories about missionaries and their medical needs. There were stories about missionaries who put dimes up their nose to show tricks to kids, put Nair on their face, did cartwheels in suits, did the splits to prove he had been a cheerleader, jumped on basketballs to see how high he could bounce, and rubbed poison ivy on his arms to show he wouldn't be affected. Each required medical attention. Boys will be boys. But you can be assured that Dr. Aldous loves your missionaries and is taking the best care of them possible. I know it is not an easy job with phone calls 24/7. Thank you Dr. Aldous for taking such wonderful care of the DC South missionaries.
