Miracle Moment

We have miracles happen every day here in the Washington DC mission. We have asked the missionaries  to call us and share them with us.  And so every day, usually in the evening we get phone calls from excited missionaries telling us about wonderful and miraculous things that happen to them.  I thought I would share some of these on a regular basis here on the blog.

While at the library on P-day 2 of the Elders were sending their emails home and saw a man reading a french magazine.  One of the Elders speaks french and felt prompted to visit with the man.  So he approached  and they learned that the man was from the Ivory Coast where he had taken the missionary lessons.  His parents would not allow him to be baptized and so when he came to the United States, he promised himself that he would let the first missionaries that he met here baptize him.  WOW!  And so now they are reviewing the lessons with a baptism in the future.  It's amazing how many people are being prepared and looking for the gospel and our missionaries are doing a wonderful job of finding them.  I'm so grateful our Elder followed the prompting to talk to this man on his P-day in the library.
