Woodbridge Zone Conference 8-09

We had our 8th Zone Conference on Monday, August 3,2009. This is the final Zone Conference in a series of 8.  This last one was with the Woodbridge Zone.  The Zone Leaders are Elders Baldwin and Elder Withers.  Elder Baldwin is from Las Vegas and we know his extended family quite well.  It is fun to work with him and see what a great young man he has become.  All the Baldwins can be proud of our Vegas Boy.  He' s made us look good.  This conference went excellent and I think everyone learned alot and had fun too.  The pictures show all the cars with the hoods and trunks up when we got there.  These cars looked like they were new.  The engines were even shinny.  The iron man award went to Elder Scoble.  The Commitment Council which was led by the Zone leaders was super and our Assistants always do a masterful job of leading the whole things  They put on a great presentation and really know how to motivate the "Troops".  At the luncheon, we had the treat of having Elder Ika perform a Tongan Dance for us, The scary one where they stick their tongue out and scream.  It was great. He is quite the performer.  The special musical number was by Sis. Capps and Elder Wilkinson.  They sang accapela and it was wonderful.  Two very talented missionaries.  This zone includes: Elders:Hune, Scoble, Wilkinson, Strong, Ozaki, Laughren, Ika, Beal, Forsberg, Schnepf, McFarlane, Dimick, Baldwin, and Withers and Sisters: Capp and Knutson.

Great picture of the Woodbridge Zone! It is so exciting to see my son in the photo! (Never before have I gotten so excited to pick out the back of my son's neck and head in the other pictures!)
