Elder Piper Comes to Visit

We were privileged to have our first visit from a general authority,  Elder Paul Piper of the first quorum of the Seventy came and stayed with us this weekend.  He arrived on Saturday afternoon. We spent from 4:00  in the afternoon until the next morning with him.  He interviewed us and was really here to see how we are doing now that it's been a month and we might have questions.  He is a very nice man and spent alot of time asking us how we are doing and then just listening.  He was very helpful and I could tell that Pres. Albright was really thankful for his advice and words of wisdom and encouragement.  He had dinner with us at the mission home and stayed overnight.  Mark took him to meetings this morning at 7:30.  I'm so thankful that the church takes such good care of their Mission Presidents.  They always have someone we can call and get help from when we have questions or problems.  The missionary medical department is incredible just like every department of the church.  Anyway, I'm grateful for Elder Pipers' visit.  It was an honor to visit with him and feel his spirit and testimony.
