Baptism for Merci Joshua-August 6,2010

We attended a baptism on Sat. Aug 6, at the Mt Vernon Potomac Building. This beautiful building sits on the Potomac River and is just really a lovely setting. It is just down the street from Mt. Vernon. Sister Merci Joshua was baptized. She was a very sweet and gentle lady. Her daughter had already joined and she had been investigating for some time. She was very emotional and touched by the spirit during the meeting. Very sweet to watch her as she felt overwhelmed by the spirit .Elder Jones performed the baptism.
This is the back entrance of the building. The building is in the Mt Vernon style with the white pillars.
Elder Holmstead gave a talk.
