Transfer Meeting- Lots of Changes

On July 22,2010 was our transfer meeting. We took the newly arrived missionaries to the Ox Road chapel for this meeting. The chapel was filled with those getting new companions. We then took the departing missionaries with us for a fun-filled day. The departing group outside the church. Includes: Sisters Arnett, LeSueur, Elders Lewis, Jeppesen, Geary, Fukui and Lee, Sis. McMullen. Back row: Sis & Pres Albright, Elders Johnson, Wilkinson, GC, Beal, Perkins, and McMullen.

Transfer Meeting fills the chapel (Sisters get the front row). This is a sweet meeting. All the incoming missionaries are introduced and the departing ones each give a bit of advice to the others. As the closing song: God Be With You" is sung the departing missionaries leave during the last verse. It is kind of an emotional and tender moment.Good-byes are hard. Lots of tears
Elder Bell is really loved by all the missionaries. They admire him and his great ability to lead and be strong while relating to them and being lots of fun. These elders were teasing him by acting as though they were worshipping him. He is trying to stop them. Elder Bell was transferred today. He has been AP for 7 months. We have come to love him and think of him as a dear friend and "son".
